Healing Retreats

Our retreats offer traditional Ayahuasca healing ceremonies carried out by one of the very best shamans in Peru, Segundo Putapana Silvano.

What is an Ayahuasca retreat?

An Ayahuasca retreat gives you the opportunity to work with an indigenous shaman through a guided interdimensional journey. The natural healing power of Ayahuasca and other medicinal plants help our guests to reconnect to nature and their true selves.

Participants are able to replant their spirits in the nourishing soil of the retreat, free from the environmental, emotional and mental toxins that caused their illness or discomfort in the first place.

Our approach is designed to accomplish effective, individual shamanic healing in accordance with your personal needs, goals and aspirations which will be discussed privately with our Shaman on your arrival.

At the retreat, as well as attending Ayahuasca Ceremonies, our guests may also receive a variety of traditional plant remedies, prescribed by the Shaman.

Due to the constant flow of visitors to Macas House, you are welcome at any time.

However, we do ask for guests to arrive in Iquitos the day before their stay at the Retreat if possible, as the plane often lands in Iquitos after 3pm.

On arrival, you will be met by our local guide and a private car will be waiting to take you to your hotel of choice or straight to the retreat, if your arrival is before Midday.

Regarding hotels in Iquitos, we do not currently have a specific partner working with us but there are a number of hotels and services ranging from the very cheap and basic, to the more expensive. The choice is entirely yours and the comfort level you wish to have.

We are happy to arrange your one night accommodation in Iquitos and will endeavour to find the best prices for you but the cost of the hotel is not included in the price of your stay at the retreat.
