Just 40 miles and an hour’s drive from Iquitos Airport, the two great rivers, the Maranon and the Ucayali, join together to form the start of the mighty Amazon and it is here, with the amazing vista over this vast expanse of water, where you will find Macas Healing Retreat.

Macas House is to be found near the town of San Joaquin de Omaguas in the province of Loreto-Nauta and its location, at the highest point in the area with steep slopes down to the river, gives the Retreat the feeling of a secure haven of calmness and relaxation.
